Looks like this is a false alarm. Checked the dev last night and it is neither Facebook nor Microsoft. But kudos to who ever made it for being very convincing with it.

I will check it out tonight when I get home. I didn't catch the developer when I downloaded the app...I was too intrigued by the fact that it was there.

I know this is supposed to be "coming soon" for tablet and desktop, but I was able to download an app claiming to be the official Messenger app on my desktop machine. I found it while looking around in the Store one day, but I can seem to find it on my SP4. Does anyone else have this or seen it?
