That's too bad. I was hoping to make one of my spare Lumia's a streaming device (I overshopped the fire sales). Lack of EQ and apps kinda wet blankets that idea.

When paired with my bluetooth speaker I lose the ability to use my EQ or presets. Will the CU update fix this? ( Fluance fi30 speaker, amazon, highly recommended)

They are still working on mobile. I just got an update on my 640xl last night. I don't believe my 640 even comes close to what a S7 has to offer. However mine works well for my needs. I'm not big on apps and it's been rock solid so far.

LOL, I just upgraded the wifes 640 to Win 10 AU 3 days ago. She likes the extra features, but misses fm radio. All in all, our phones run very well on AU.

I would recommend a Lumia to anyone on a tight budget who doesn't need a smartphone as their only computer. Incredible value at today's prices.

Facebook takes 15 seconds to load on my 640xl. Currently on Win 10 mobile release preview (12-9-16). Other apps open much faster, though 15 seconds is meh tolerable.

I am sorry you are having issues, especially as I recommended this phone to you in a previous post. My 640 xl has worked well for me. I hope you don't experience buyers remorse. I've been on Win 10 for a couple of months now, No issues.

Apps is the big thing. Even Microsoft is putting more effort into developing apps for the other platforms compared to their own. (or so I've read). MS is aiming at the business/enterprise market now, rather than consumers. They have discontinued the Lumia line, hence the fire sale on lumia...
