Windows 10 Mobile Camera stuck at "Saving..."

I've been having issues with the "Adding finishing touches" on my L950 since day 1. Turns out that although my MicroSD card has blazing speeds, the bus which reads the card is very slow. I ended up moving back to internal memory and taking photo's is a joy again.

Windows 10 Mobile build 15240 Discussion (Fast Ring)

I didn't think it could get better than 15235 but 15240 so far is doing well on my L950. On the previous build my battery life would be at 30% by now with heavy WhatsApp usage, it's now sitting at 46% so it looks like I'll actually be getting through today with some battery life to spare...

Windows 10 Mobile build 15237 Discussion (Fast Ring)

This build is notably smoother all around, especially in Groove and when swiping in and out the notification centre. Battery life is also a dream. For the first time in a month I got through a whole day with heavy Bluetooth, WhatsApp and Facebook usage. The last 2 builds required me to use...

    Virus

Resolve doesn't fix the issue. I had to manually find the file and "SHIFT + DEL" whilst Edge was closed.

    Virus

Whilst reading your new article on Skype https://www.windowscentral.com/skype-hit-connectivity-issues-around-globe using Edge (with no ads being blocked) I was re-directed to a web page which then tried to download and install a suspicious file. I assume what happened was I hovered over an ad...

speed up your windows phone 10 works 100% and tested

I've read through this article and the reg edit sounds good. I have issues with WhatsApp resuming and switching between Facebook and Messenger takes an age. However, build 15213 has two key fixes for background tasks which we should pay attention to. We fixed a general issue where certain...

14393.693 for PC and Mobile users Available now.

This build is working great on my L950, quick, smooth and battery life so far seems very good. I've not had any problems with any of the builds come to think of it since I purchased my L950 5 months ago.

    WhatsApp latest version 'resuming...' everytime

It's not a bug. WhatsApp is a Windows Phone 8.1 app and not a Windows 10 Mobile app. Therefore, whilst it works fine with Windows 10 Mobile it will always be "resuming". Hardware does seem to make a difference however, I always get "resuming" but it's largely unnoticeable on my L950. Lesser...

Facebook Messenger huge update on mobile

Doesn't crash for me I'm afraid. Only crashes when trying to edit the photo and insert a sticker.

Facebook Messenger huge update on mobile

Just got this update today - much better. But...when will Messenger and Facebook tie in to the Windows 10 Mobile OS features such as the lock screen? Seems as if we've sacrificed features of the OS for functionality of the app. No crashes here on my Lumia 950 for either FB or Messenger. I did...

My experience of my phone for my vacation

Ok, tried that and it works - HOWEVER...I found a new problem with launching the camera from the lock screen. After blocking the proximity sensor so that Glance is "Off", and turning off "Prevent accidental camera launch", I pressed the camera button fully to launch the camera which works at...

    Skype Preview broken

You can't push back an older version as that would require re-writing code which would take longer than to simply fix the problem. Can you rollback on Android or iOS? No. Non-story here.

My experience of my phone for my vacation

I have the same problem with my 950 with the camera not unlocking the screen and then becoming stuck. The camera button only seems to work when the glance screen is on, the problem is when the glance screen is off because the sensor is covered. I think turning off the glance screen completely is...
