That's really great you love that old crap. Congratulations. Other people do want updates, have machines up to date. W10 is made to face the competition, to go forward and kick ***. Many people really want that update, period.

You are the one who pulled wp7 in this discussion, claiming they still work the same as the day they were released. Apparently they don't, key features like Skype are gone. Skype is going to be build into w10, that alone is a good reason to want w10 on a surface2.

If you're happy with that, sure it's all fine. But for me, my L800 is useless compared to my wp8.1. Adding w10 will absolutely change everything for the surface if it gains access to WP apps.

WP7 phones can't use Skype anymore, and almost no apps appear anymore.

If that were so, then nobody would install any update. Most people wanna use their device for more then 1 day, to stay modern thus updates are needed and expected especially if EVEN W7 devices get free update to W10.

There won't be W10 for RT. The people who believed in MS and bought RT despite the lack of apps and despite the whole world looking down on RT and despite the relative high price are getting screwed for their bold choice.

Well you can read here that the hardware compatibility is not an issue. W10 interface can scale so the screen diagonal is not relevant, and the processor is not relevant either, it's powerfull enough and way more powerfull than dualcore snapdragons. The processor type should be irrelevant since...
