does not show contact images inplace of the colored circle for those contacts that are local to the device. least not on my ICON running with the latest PREVIEW build of W10M (10.0.14393.726). would be nice if it did do this.

maybe profiles will come to replace it. Apps Corner never worked very well for me on my Lumia Icon.

Check out TotalCommander if you need to get to file shares. I have used TotalCommader from WM6.5 days and it made the jump to Windows Phone 8 and now to W10M (not a UWP for now). it has built in FTP client and some other tools built in that are really nice to have.

I have similar issues with WiFi. Work keeps telling me that there logs show repeat disconnects/reconnects from my device and it trips the Autoblock on the WiFi Routers. Even after they cleared the Autoblock list, it will connect for 2 or 3 days and then it starts doing the repeated...

I have been seeing the same issue. I pair with Plantronics BT headphones at work and then when I leave work and have turned off BT, when a phone call comes in, I go to answer it and find out that the Bluetooth is selected and I have to press Bluetooth so that I can actually talk to the person...

I was able to Ask Cortana what my next appointment was and it pulled back the appoint without issue. What kind of Command are you asking Cortana to do?

I just tried this where I have quiet hours set to turn on schedule at 10pm US Central time. I was able to turn Quiet hours off and back on. I will check that once the Quiet hours schedule is set to turn Quiet hours off, that I am able to turn Quiet hours on manually as well.

so after updating my Lumia Icon to this build, I am getting some issues with the bluetooth going to a brand new set of Plantronics Pro bluetooth head phones. When I am playing music from IHeart, Spotify or Groove, when a notification comes in and displays on the screen, the bluetooth connection...

any on running this build on a Lumia Icon (aka 929)? if so, what are the results so far? I have been holding off on preview build but looking to move to RS2 maybe this weekend and wanted to see thoughts from other Icon users. Thanks.

have you tried soft reset? what device are you on and what version of teh OS are you on?

the Apps Corner is how W10M deals with security for apps. if you want to hand over your phone to a friend, you click into Apps Corner and you do not put apps which you would not want someone else to use. the Apps Corner still has a lot a flaws in my eyes but from what you are stating, it seems...

Re: Windows 10 Mobile Official/Production: Anniversary Update 14393.448 (Redstone 1, non-Insider) so far I am not having any issues with this build. I will do my full battery test starting tomorrow where I go thru a 'normal' days worth of usage and judge battery life then. Lumia Icon (aka 929)

Re: Cumulative Update: build 14393.448 Discussion (Redstone 1; Release and Slow Rings) finally got my Icon to take the update. I had to fully exit the Insider program to get it to pull the update. Might have to pick up another Icon to just have the inside program on and start playing around...
