So i bought a blu win jr not too long ago and while trying to update, i got an error, i dont remember what the error is but soon after the phone is stuck at os ver 8.10.12400.899 dispite reports of a new versions. how do i get new updates? simply going to the phone update in setting does nothing...

So I get that 8.1 is right around the corner, but as a HTC 8S unlocked owner, how do I get it? Do I just keep hitting the update button every hour or is there a specific HTC website that I have go to, to get the 8.1

No no, i have 8s, the sd card slot is where you would put sim card, its literally right across from it. To open the the area where the sim is you pull down where the color is different from the rest of the phone like where dark blue is different from the light blue, unless ur mixing 8s from 8x...
