Yes i do have the same problem as well although its sporadic. at times it does not happen and at times it does.

My v moda headphones do have a volume slider. although it is meant to be compatible with the iphone if that makes any diff, but worked fine on the titan. You have to understand that people have had problems getting the headphone controls to work as well, the controls pretty much don't work so...

Well first off i am selling my titan and should get around $250 + for it, and got the lumia for 450 and will get the $100 credit so its $350, so basically got the phone for a 100 bucks. i just like the design more and i do trust nokia more with updates and stuff rather than htc.

Yes same here. sound is way less using headphones as compared to the titan. Even at max 30 it feels like 20 on the titan if compared. and i agree about the white noise comment too.

i dont know about 15. i turn mine up all the way up to 30 and even though its decent at the max volume, i would still like to go higher. and bear in mind i am using $120 v moda headphones. so yes there is def some problem with the firmware or whatever. Ill test it again with diff headphone.

The headphone volume sound is much better on the titan than the lumia. The camera on the titan is better as well i feel. have both in front of me right now(although the titan is going on ebay tonight) but yeah you wont go too wrong if you got the titan

Yep, that's the answer i was looking for. Listening to music/podcasts is what i use the phone mostly for and even though the volume is not that low, compared to my titan it just seems way worse. Not sure if i am keeping this phone past 30 days.

the headphones that i am using are v-moda headphones that i paid $120 for so i doubt it could be a headphone thing although i will try another pair just to make sure. Put my lumia at volume 12 right now and that seemed very low. Besides the titan had the sound enhancer app from htc pre installed...

not talking about in call volume, that goes up to 10 and is kinda loud, but when you play a song and listen to it over the headphones, it goes up to 30 but even 30 seems a tad lower that the max volume on other phones. can anyone else confirm this too

does your volume seem fine or is it a tad bit low? maybe im just exxagerating but compared to other phones it def seems low.

Ok just got back from the store and exchanged my lumia. thankfully they had one last one and the new one does not seem to have the back button problem, so for all those having the problem, i would advise you all to exchange it.
