Excellent SPB Shell vs. TouchFlo 3D Article

If I wanted to see my phone spin I'd spin it. 3D overload going on with MS3 there. I'm still looking for a way to fit more information on a 320x320 screen and version 3 doesn't seem to be it.

    mail2web, goosync or other?

I've soft reset my Treo and the goosync kicked in according to the auto schedule after all. There's a shortcut in my Startup folder after all. I'm unsure if the autosync will continue between resets when the app has been close manually or by the memory manager.

    mail2web, goosync or other?

Are you testing the paid version or free version? The free version will duplicate if you have appointments in your phone that are in read-only calendars in Google. That's one reason why the paid version is important. If your online copy of contacts/appointments are correct then try the Reload...

Round Robin: iPhone Rene is Baaaaaack! Please Help!

Rene you didn't ask yet but considering the Treo Pro thread I'm gonna say these right upfront as they should apply to the Diamond: Unless the box says otherwise please recognise that this phone may not officially support Apple. I'm not saying you can't get it to work but give it as much time...

    mail2web, goosync or other?

Why do you think tasks don't sync well? I haven't tried that myself. This is probably worth another thread but I want to get googlemail to push (google supports it but pocket outlook doesn't). I'm not keen on versamail and seven is a bit clunky for my liking (also doesn't push fast enough) so...

    mail2web, goosync or other?

The automatic sync doesn't have push yet. The option is in the SyncML software but GooSync's website say not to turn it on. It's unclear if the application window needs to remain open (minimised) for this to work or if it runs as a service. SyncMyCal needed to run and it kept getting closed by...

    mail2web, goosync or other?

It did eat my Contacts photos but I don't blame it for duplicates. The sync wasn't able to complete cos I ran out of storage. That was cos of the duplicates I think but I have to be fair and recognise that ActiveSync is to blame for that. It does the same thing when syncing via USB to Outlook...

    mail2web, goosync or other?

Well I'm trying it now. Unsuprisngly the first sync has created loads of duplicates and it's taking an age. All expected and I have a backup to fall back on. Software-less sync with OTA push for calendar, contacts, tasks and email is the holy grail though and so far these guys are the closest. I...

    mail2web, goosync or other?

https://www.nuevasync.com looks interesting. It's an ActiveSync compatible OTA proxy for Google Calendar and Contacts. It's in beta now but when it adds support for read-only calendars and Gmail (both in their plans) then this could be excellent. No software required! I'm not sure I can wait...

    Looking for power management apps

I've seen some software that lets you specify when to sync such as Live or GooSync where you can specify when to download/sync. For example I have mine set to not bother updating while I'm asleep.

    mail2web, goosync or other?

I'm going to buy GooSync (at least give their 30 day money back satisfaction guarantee a run) but they are charging VAT (sales tax) on top of the quoted prices. Currently that's showing as 17.5% and it should go down to 15% by Monday if they haven't hardcoded it in. Featurewise they seem to have...

    Contact Synch Question

I believe that you can set AS to overwite handheld. In any case I recommend copying your contacts folder in Outlook and fixing that. Then use that to replace your default folder and you'll have it there in case your first attempt to sync correctly doesn't come off as hoped.

    mail2web, goosync or other?

I'm having good experiences so far with GooSync's free version. I like the fact that it shows you some kind of progress bar and switches to a faster sync after the first job. I love the fact that you can override that setting. However I read somewhere (which could be out of date) that it...

    mail2web, goosync or other?

I'm fairly set on using Google as I can easily mash that into my Outlook calendar at work to have my private and work calendar side-by-side. I'm set on OTA sync because my work no longer supports ActiveSync. So I've already tried SyncMyCal Mobile Pro but just it refunded as it was crashing my...
