The buttons are only lit when the phone is unlocked while charging, even if battery saver is turned on. If lock screen is on while charging, the capacitive buttons are not illuminated. It's only irritating when using the phone in a dark environment.

I completely agree! This bug is really frustrating. I like to read on my phone at night and it's fine using battery saver, until of course, I have to charge my phone.

Re: Bugs/Problems after Denim The navigation bar buttons don't dim with the rest of the phone when brightness is set to automatic. The buttons are blinding when using the phone in the dark.

I just received an update yesterday, and my navigation bar is now constantly lit at what seems to be the brightest setting. It's uncomfortable to use my phone in the dark now. I've looked for settings to reduce brightness of the nav bar and there are none. I hope they fix this bug soon.
