You can try unlocking your Lumia 650 by going to your phone dial keypad and typing in ##7820 #. The phone will ask you to type in the unlock code and press the check mark. If this works the phone will show unlock sim symbol. I unlocked my Lumia 1520 using this method. Good luck!

So far everything is working fine. I'm glad I bought this phone to replace my Lumia 1520. I even got "hey Cortana" working on this phone. Still miss my 1520.

Have you try doing a soft re-set?

Great to hear everything is back to normal. I find that Windows 10 usually need to be restarted after an update just like doing an update on your Windows 10 PC.
