Depends, I have the black frame on my 930 and dropped it the third day I had it. It didn't break but it did chip off some of the black paint on the frame. I still refuse to put out in a case though lol

I just upgraded from a 1020 to a 930. Bought it outright, saving my upgrade for the 1020 successor. So far I'm very happy with the device although I do miss the better camera of the 1020.

The only time I really notice the speed difference is when downloading apps. I haven't noticed much of a difference Watching YouTube, streaming Pandora and surfing the web on 3g vs lte

I'm getting speeds of 6-8 mbps in my area with the 930 on at&t.

I was having secondary mic problems so to use Cortana, speaker phone or speech to text, I had to yell at the phone as the mic volume was too low. Denim fixed that for the most part. Occasionally I've noticed it still acting up though, but it's MUCH better than it was before the update.

I've made a few phone calls since upgrading and no ones said anything about the way I sound. In fact it fixed the weird microphone problems I was having.

Had the issue like a few others where the second microphone wouldn't pick up my voice unless I yelled at it. Apps like cortana, speakerphone, and speech to text were almost impossible to use. The fix? Denim update :)

to get denim, I flashed my firmware to 059W0X5: RM-1045 VAR EURO 3V CV BLACK, after that go to phone update and it will install Denim :) OR you can wait until its released in your country.

I took the back cover off and I think its just the way the vibration is on this phone. Concerning the microphone issue, Denim seems to have fixed it! Very happy with the phone right now :)

my brand new one has had this issue also. It happened the first time I turned it on and each time I have restored the software to factory. Since doing all the updates including developers preview it hasn't done it. My screen doesn't appear to have lifted anywhere so I am not sure what's going...

I'm having this issue too. I've tried hard reset, soft reset, starting from new, even nokia recovery tool flashing the stock firmware, then the uk one. Still having issues unless I speak really loud. I have however found, on my device, if I speak directly into the earpiece, yes I said earpiece...

My first issue is that when the phone vibrates it makes an annoying rattling or buzzing sound. I could live with this but I've also noticed that when speaking to cortana, using speaker phone, or using speech to text in messaging that I have to speak really loud or it either says it can't hear me...

Are you sure you're on 8.1? Both my gf and I had updated our phones only to find we had to check for updates again to get 8.1. Sent from my Lumia 1020
