Really? I always find El Reg to be the most platform agnostic of all the tech sites, showing equal disdain for all operating systems and manufacturers (with a soft spot for Linux, natch).

I moved from a 1020 to a 930 and there are occasions when I miss the massive sensor and lossless zoom of Nokia's camera masterpiece. However I also do a lot of simple snaps of friends, family etc and I certainly don't miss the for second delay of my old phone. Plus Living Images is very cool indeed.

Don't know if they've got it anywhere else, but popped into the central Milton Keynes McDonalds for a coffee today and they've got aircharge's wireless qi charges built into a number of the tables. This is the first time I've seen this in the UK and made the iPhone wielding numpties on the table...

Got the voucher about ten days later, but no sign of the speakers or charger.

The voucher can be used for any purchase from Microsoft's stores, be they on WP, Xbox or Windows. Decided to buy Forza Horizon 2. It's chuffing marvelous.

I received a ?25 app voucher through the post today. No sign of the charger, speaker or why the voucher was for a fiver more than what I was expecting. Curious...

After a week of waiting for my 930's imei number to be recognised (during which I moaned to everyone including Nokia who denied all knowledge of the offer having anything to do with them and claimed it was an o2 promotion) I was finally permitted to order the bundle on Monday. Received an order...

Kondor emailed me this morning to say they have an issue with their imei database that they're trying to fix. No timespan on when things will be up and running again which is a tad annoying.

They do, tis called the 930/Icon. What you need is for AT&T to start offering it instead of that big red company.

But I'm so impatient! I'll give them until Monday before I start sending them threats about releasing nude pictures of them.

Even though the 930 has an extra 400 mAh battery capacity, its more powerful and larger screen and processor are both major draws on said power source. Perhaps not by as much as five hours though, and doesn't fit in with my experience coming from a 1020 which has similar innards to the 925.

Howdy y'all Has anyone managed to apply for the wireless bundle offer since Microkia resurrected it? Been trying for the past week or so but the website won't recognise my imei and I'm yet to receive any replies to emails/tweets I've sent to Kondor (who seem to be administering it) our Nokia.

Battery life is okay, on a par with the 1020 it replaced and leagues ahead of my work iPhone 5S. Considering the 930's far superior screen to both of these I'm pretty chuffed.

Haven't given up on my 1020 completely. My wife accidentally drowned her iPhone in a glass of water and is test driving the Lumia to see if she's going to jump ship. Response so far has been mostly positive, with the usual caveat of fewer popular apps in the store.
