I still get notifications but WhatsApp as a whole is a lot buggy now... Groups you mute show notifications, the app becomes dead slow while getting simultaneous messages at the same time and many other issues :cryingheretoo:

@techfreak1- My problem got resolved with hard reset in AU. I'm using a 640xl. Your case seems a little odd. Maybe there's a problem with your device, firmware or something. I'm just guessing btw.

Maybe try reinstalling WhatsApp without backup... I mean if u want to keep some messages you can email them to yourself.. But I doubt WhatsApp causing your notification troubles.. It's mainly OS caused as experienced by many others

I know some people like being on the edge, but others should avoid whatsapp beta. And hard reset definitely solves notification issues on AU.

Yeah I have that same problem with hike messenger as well. But my mail app is working fine. @marizio I have updated WhatsApp but still no notifications for both the apps. And after several reboots and soft resets, still no notifications.

I'm really hoping for an alternate solution.

Well that sucks. I don't want to hard reset too and lose all my app data. It really is annoying that we have to hard reset our phones after every major update :/

Forgot to mention i have reinstalled whatsapp too...

This is the first thing i noticed after updating to RS1... No notifications now... I have changed my battery saver settings for whatsapp to always allowed... Rebooted my phone... Notifications started working for a few hours... Now, they have stopped again...

Well that does suck... :( I got some of my data back via back up... But game data is gone... Imagine you play a game for months and you are back on square one... Frustrating

I had an unusual experience yesterday with my phone cleared most of my start screen.. I couldn't see most of my apps on the side menu... Only 5-6 tiles were working... Did soft reset,didn't help.. So I finally did hard reset today and everything's working finally. .. In this process i lost all...
