Re: W10M Insider Preview 14342 Issues (Redstone branch) you have to use Windows Recovery to go back to 8.1. Reset from Phone settings only clears the current account and does a refresh of the current version.

Love to get my hands on 950xl. Stuck with Lumia Icon phone that does not have good WiFi and on Verizon. Don't mind switching back to AT&T for 950xl. I wish I could buy but then I am looking for job and thus can't afford to get one! :-(

2 more updates available 8860 and 8862 which fixes the update issue and fixes some of the lag seen earlier with 8858 and 8860. ..Ramesh

hmm, something must have gone wrong with the update. Try again from scratch. Mine is working well and I used the cab method from XDA: [CAB] Official WP7 Updates List up to WP 7.8 + ALL LANGUAGES complete + OEM updates - xda-developers

Did you install Lumia update by mistake? Also Verizon Trophy comes with English and Spanish and thus no need to install all other languages. It just chews up the remaining precious little memory. :-) On mine everything works well including Sound Enhancer. ..Ramesh

Go back to your backup and then redo the cab and see if it works. I put mine in Airplane mode before doing the cabs. Also, did you put all the cabs in one shot? I did mine one by one update, meaning from 8773 to 8779 --> 3 cab files Then did 8779 to 8783 --> 1 cab file Then finally 8783 to 8858...

Lockscreen using Bing image of the day works for me but I have a customized lockscreen with a different background "Metro Locscreen Creator".

I waited until now and just used the cab update from XDA and updated to 7.8 and so far so good, it is working well and I am still customizing my start screen! :-):grin:
