    Microsoft Office can't open

    Seems corrupt. Have you still got the original install files? I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling. I'd imagine Microsoft still have files available for download try https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/office.aspx

    Suggestions for another phone

    I'm pretty impressed with the Pixel my friend has. It's not the new one, but the screen and pictures on it are a lot better than my iPhone 6. It's also fairly cheap! Can get it on around £20/month contract.

    Do you use a VPN? Why or why not?

    I don't use one all the time, only when needed because my ISP has blocked a website. Nothing shady!
