It's crap for sure. Edge is unusable and crashes on half the sites. Cortana no longer works to dictate text messages. Since there are no apps, you would think the browser would be of focus....NOT!

Mesbah, sooo funny. We just went on vacation, after my 950Xl keeps crapping out using Edge browser, camera shutter lag, I told my wife, I will get an Android phone, and use my 950Xl as a camera only because the quality of the pics still kicks an iPhone 8's butt

It is TRASH. The creators update made the phone a big POS. Camera huge lag Edge locks up most of the time Waze is almost unusable most other apps crash often and freeze. MSFT has finally killed this 25 year supporter. I dread having to go to CrapDroid, but MSFT has given me no choice.

Take any bug that was reported and not fixed when they branched this garbage release off or RS2. I bet 80% of those bugs are still here. MSFT sucks at code maintenance! Battery drain when charged in a car is horrible. Take an 8 hour drive, and Waze will drain your battery fully even when...

Mine was great until the creators update. Total garbage release, they branched the code and missed a bunch of fixes from the pre creators update branch. So frustrating that the biggest software company in the world can't manage simple cherry picks.

So, you are saying use WDRT to go back to the last pre creators update? What happens when it auto updates again to the creators update? How do you turn OFF all updates? MSFT just split off the mobile devs from win 10.

What is super awesome is that my wall charger can hardly keep up with using the phone. So I can have Waze running in the car, and the battery still drains while being charged. Where do the screenshots now go? The used to go right into my camera roll? Why do half the websites load, then go...

I bet if you look at the feedback hub once they branched the code for this release, and tracked all bugs past that date, a high percentage of them were not fixed in this branch. Their development process are really weak as far as cherry picking code into other branches.

yup, two hard resets. Glance clock no longer updates, so that is a nice win. Edge seems to have the old bug where it would swipe left way to easily. Nice job cherrypicking code devs

Shockingly it is just as poor as I thought. Resuming...Resuming...Resuming...Edge loads half the pages now, camera takes forever to save. Good job 2 MSFT Mobile developers....congrats

You would be crazy to take that update. They unit tested it at best with their 4 developers on the WP side of the house.

It's easy. Price a cutting edge phone for around $299, take a $300 loss per phone, put 10 million in the market at a loss of 3 billion which is nothing for MSFT, and make your last stand. Then developers will come over. It's clear the iOS bridge was a joke (see the Facebook 1.2 gig app) that...
