re: W10M Insider Bugs & Defects Thread Noticed that my glance screen suddenly wouldn't appear. At all. Took a lot of trial-and-error, but after some frustrated guessing I discovered that enabling and disabling black-and-white image background in glance screen fixes the issue. Hope that's helpful

An actually positive post! Within the last 24ish hours, my battery performance has begun stabilizing. Further, the device seems to not be hot to the touch anymore. I'm guessing that the two are related.

We should get some objective measures of these, then compare them with new battery measures when the next major windows phone debuts. Might put stuff into perspective.

In my 2012 Volvo, my 1520 worked perfectly over bluetooth. Now my 950XL barely works with my car. It's horribly upsetting, as I just got this car.

I found an old computer desktop in the basement in my university, and it had a Windows logo for a version I'd never heard of. I Bing'd it. No relevant results. I did a reverse-image search, only got one result: a similar Microsoft logo. Dead end. So, what the hell is "Windows Ready-to-Run"...

This whole thing seems jarring, short sighted and stupid. This could be as damaging to their PR as the initial reveal of the Xbox One. I'm just horrified.

I really hope they reverse or alter this decision. Why not just use more ad revenue from the OneDrive apps? I fear this is going to do massive damage to the brand.

Will threshold 2 in November let users install programs on the SD card? I've searched and searched, but it's been hard to find an answer. I keep getting either hacking tricks or mobile version info.

So, I have had my stuff backing up consistently for years now, but for the past two months I can't backup my settings and app info. It gets to 99% and then says try again later. Rinse and repeat. Any help?
