What's filling up my Surface 2? how to make space?

I had the exact same issue on my Surface RT, and when trying to delete the items from my Surface I accidentally deleted them on OneDrive too. Thankfully OneDrive just moved these items to a trashcan and I was able to restore everything. This must be user error on my part. I thought I found the...

    Anyone have a Fire TV/Stick?

I completely forgot about that! They did the same thing when I bought a Kindle Fire Tablet. Thanks for the reminder!

    Anyone have a Fire TV/Stick?

I couldn't pass on the Prime pricing either and also purchased one. I have yet to use it though. I have a computer, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and a PS3 hooked up to my (only) TV so I don't see a need for it yet. I'll probably end up gifting it to a friend. Thanks for the sideloading tip. I didn't know...

Sad and true...Tom Warren giving up on WP

I don't know how true your statement is. I've read a few articles that outright state or strongly suggest that a lack of certain APIs is one of the reasons some apps don't come to WP or are less feature rich. If this is true then that is on Microsoft.

What is the advantage anymore of WP over iPhone?

So, what have you got now? Did you go back to the 1520?

    Are We Delusional?

No need to be an ***. If you don't like the thread maybe you should consider not reading it? Thread titles give you a pretty good idea of what the thread is going to be about. Seriously, forums are places where people come to complain but the frequency of people complaining about people...

AT&T/Microsoft need to promote the hell out of this phone!

I visited the new Bethesda Maryland Microsoft Store yesterday. Unless they had another phone section elsewhere, the phone section was rather small and there were no 1520 or 830 phones on display. Both phones were missing! I overheard the sales associates speaking. The 1520 was damaged and I...

My frustrations with ATT's mobile insurance

I wonder if they were also low on or out of 1520s? When my 920 broke 3 or 4 months ago they offered me a 1020 or a 1520. I chose the 1020. I'm very sorry they forced you to Android. I think I need to take a look and see just what the terms of the agreement are just in case I ever need to use the...

Is Microsoft unwise to ignore their own platform?

Are you responding to me? If you think your comments are pithy they are not. While many first tier developers have come on board and are developing (well) for WP many others are not making WP apps or are producing inferior WP versions. If you look at second/third tier developers and/or...

Is Microsoft unwise to ignore their own platform?

I wonder what that thing we haven't heard of yet will be? Just like the iPhone changed the market almost overnight something else will eventually come along and shake everything up again. It might even come from Microsoft! :-) I agree with you that Windows Store apps may have limited appeal to...

Is Microsoft unwise to ignore their own platform?

I think the "....." suggests sarcasm, and I'm inclined to agree with you. Even if 10 does fix it, and I hope it does, it is definitely going to take some time. Hopefully 10 is successful on traditional computers and more compelling on mobile devices creating a large unified market that no...

Surface Pro 4, bigger or smaller screen?

I don't expect it to change size at all, but rather add upgraded internals. I'd also be surprised if any new MS hardware is released before Windows 10 is released. The Surface Pro 4 will come in the same physical dimensions as the Surface Pro 3

    Returned my MS band

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Fitbit Charge & the Band. Jawbone keeps saying stay tuned for a WP app. They are also slated to support Microsoft Health so maybe they will actually release a WP app eventually. I'm currently using a Misfit Shine. They have a WP app, but I wasn't...

    Returned my MS band

The UP3 does look pretty interesting. Fully waterproof is great because I know it would just be a matter of time before I forget and wear a device in the shower. The UP3 is using a completely different heart rate technology than just about everybody else. I wonder how accurate it will turn out...
