That doesn't work for me. Tried both, enabling and disabling background task; I don't use data sense, and I also don't use battery saver mode. And of course I've done some proper reboots and soft resets. Everythings is still the same. I still think it's whatsapp's issue with push notifications...

Is it just me or the WhatsApp WP8 client is working worse and worse every day? Messages not arriving or not showing notifications. Notifications without sound (just visual); or vice-versa, sound notifications without visual ones. Delays in sending messages, even if you're hooked to a wifi...

Just updated to newest version. It won't start. You tap de icon (on the app list) and the screen turns black and quickly comes back to the app list. Trying it on an unlocked L620 from Argentina. I don't know if the regional settings can make it crash; I'm really new to WP. Cheers.
