2 options for u. May it works for you. Turn off battery saver. Go to Battery Saver> Usage> Scroll down> Tap on WhatsApp> Allow the app to run in background ON. Hope now u ll get WhatsApp messages.

Facebook integration was much better and was feeling smooth to chat from messaging hub.. It's no more in WP 8.1. It should come back again in WP 8.1... Guys, Yes/No???
