    I think I might finally have it all set up. The Microsoft Store is going to send me a lable for the refund and Third Tier Surface support is going to call me regarding a replacement. Then I'll have both set up and I'll be able to choose.

    Mine had a bright spot on the LCD panel itself. That's all. I already sent it in for replacement. I will comment, they were ridiculously unprepared for this. It took me literally three hours to set up a warranty replacement. I'd have just lived with it, but after that much effort getting it set...
