I suppose there wouldn't be any difference. However, the network operator must support the device. Here in India, we have only one operator that provides VoLTE service but unfortunately they haven't listed Lumia 650 among the compatible devices.

Oh yes, you're right. On their website, it's clearly mentioned that it supports VoLTE. You made my day brother. :) Yes, I'm planning to switch to Jio from Airtel but haven't decided yet. But you know, nowhere in the list of devices that supports Jio sim have they mentioned Lumia 650. Like what...

Thanks Aditya for the detailed analysis. So, apparently SD 212 in Lumia 650 doesn't support VoLTE whereas SD 210 in Lumia 550 does. But isn't the former supposed to be an upgrade to the latter?
