Android poor mans ios??? Nnnnnno. Ios is...dated, seriously ios uses static icons as a home screen. The only thing that makes ios stand out is safari browser. android is much better...Perhaps just less consistent in some regards. Though Android has definitely degraded over the years...

You can fix this by changing your region to United States, to do this go : settings > language + region > country/region > change to United States. it did the trick for me as I have never experienced the issue again after several months. Looks like each region has its own server so if you change...

Basically... I just say that the wp8 ui is by far the most beautiful and modern ui on the market, many of the apps share this beautiful ui and functionality with the phone... It's really not hard to see why WP has such a huge fan base. Just look at the switch off screen and the loading...

Yes and no. Android was an app rig and WP feels better at the touch but after trying all operating systems (iOS, bb10,android,wp) I came to the realization that they all do pretty much the same thing... It's hard to explain but as much as I hate saying it: a phone is just a phone. They all do...
