I too have noticed this. WP used to praised for it's keyboard. WP8.1 was unmatched. But now...it sucks.

Just updated via Insiders program. Will just stay on whatever build that MS decides to cut my 1520 from in the future. After that, I'll use my device as is till it breaks.

There's devices that get updates to newer versions of software even if they can't support all the bells and whistles. The underlying core features still work just fine on older devices. Think of it like this, Android and iOS latest iterations support finger print readers, yet not ALL devices on...

I read about this earlier... truly sickening to read. Oh well.. guess I gotta hop on the Insider preview since my 1520 won't be getting it officially.

I used a L640XL before. Sent it back because of a screen defect, and bought a L1520. Quite frankly the best mobile phone I've own thus far. What I love the most of this phone is its build quality. Its built like a tank, with a solid hefty weight to it. Feels rock solid... Screen is excellent too. :)

It would take Microsoft stating publicly that they're abandoning Windows mobile, stop all development for it and close the department. And finally, for all the apps I use to leave the platform. Till then.... W10M is my platform of choice.

Good choice bro. I myself just upgraded from a 640XL to a 1520. This phone is a beast.

I got the black. I like the business look of black. Plus the fact that it was a bit cheaper than the other colors, swung my wallet towards this colour too.. lol

Update: Collected the phone today from the courier. I'm pleased to report that the phone is in fact brand new. Came in original sealed packaging. However, this is the AT&T branded unlocked device. Had to remove some AT&T apps from the device. Also, the AT&T boot logo is present. But all in all...
