I think it's all a bit ho-hum, to be honest. Desirable, yes, but hardly the kind of thing to get super-excited about. Also, to some extent it does feel like we are just winning back some Aero-like features that we had way back in W7 and got taken away from us with W8.x.

Actually, there is a fundamental shortcoming with this. In W7, icons on the desktop or in the Start menu had their title in text beneath them. For some bizarre reason, W10 removes the text when a Start menu tile is made "Small" (i.e. the same size as the icon would be). This is true of Modern...

I've found that the USB board, with its ribbon connector, is notoriously unreliable. I think there must be a design or manufacturing fault, because loads of phones seem to get this problem sooner or later. To be specific, I think it's the ribbon cable rather than the circuit board itself...

I agree - typical symptoms of a failed battery. The charge indication is NOT accurate when the battery is worn out and will give misleading percentages.

Why? How much does your battery drop in 15 minutes?

I'm with Master Devwi - it works just the same on mine whether connected to the Internet or not. The changes are synchronised next time the phone goes online.
