Defective Band - Terrible Customer Service- I'm Done

Thanks for the reply. They did charge me $200 for the band that I didn't return. I wasn't trying to cheat the system. As I mentioned in another thread, I own both bands and they wont fix mine. I'll give them another ring.

    Returned my MS band

Misleading half truths? Ok here it is in a nutshell. They offered to send me a replacement band bc the heart rate sensor wasn't working properly, but after receiving it, the new band's hr was just as inaccurate (at times). As a result, I decided not to send my other one back and they charged...

Defective Band - Terrible Customer Service- I'm Done

Yeah.... I feel like it has to be hardware related. Seems to me that the display connector was not working. I'm not sure what to do. Microsoft is basically saying I need to wait a month or so if I want a replacement? I dont see why they just cant send another one out and charge me the $200...

Returning mine as well. Apparently Microsoft feels that the below isn't grounds for a replacement.

Defective Band - Terrible Customer Service- I'm Done

Hey Guys, Unfortunately, it looks like I am done with the Band. Just to recap, when I noticed that my heartrate was especially off the second day of owning it, I called Microsoft support to help troubleshoot. They offered to send a replacement band to see if that resolved the issue. If I did...

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

Wasn't the original poster who said that, but I saw it in the thread as well :-)

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

In response to trusting the band over the mio due to more sensors: I have yet to see anything that supports this...have you? From what I have seen, calories burned seems to correlate to heart rate. I took a spin class today and my polar chest strap reported that my average was 11bpms higher...

thought it was a rumor, but its true. Band is going up to $500 on ebay.

They MS store had plenty of bands online and in store the day it came out. Some people procrastinated...I bought a few to pay for the band and the upcoming iwatch. Cant argue with $600 big ones ;-).

    Bluetooth audio stutter and pops

Yeah... I was hoping it was 8.1, but it just started happening with the band. Well, I guess I'll know when I'll be charging it :-)

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

So the microsoft news post where they talk about directly going after the strap was a lie?

    Bluetooth audio stutter and pops

Having the same exact issue in my car. Using an iPhone 6 Plus in a 2007 BMW 335 and hearing crackling when the band is on. When I turn it off, it returns to normal. Also having issues with Siri (seems like maybe it is trying to use the band?)... although I don't think it is warranted to...

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

Yeah... it just seems way off all the time. When outside of exercise modes, I've noticed that the HR often locks in at a higher heartrate, and takes about 5-10 seconds to drop down and truly lock in on my heart rate. This might be why my heart rate seems high after analyzing sleep activity...
