So is there no way to delete this 'mistake' folder without it deleting the photos from the phone and laptop - even if they exist in another folder on the cloud? Is there a delete duplicates feature floating about up there?

Sorry - additional info - my desktop (same upgrade path to 10) is doing the same thing - I left it switched on while I was on the laptop and couldn't get it back on without using the power button too :(
