I've just ditched my 950 found it very disappointing, after owning may other lumias 800,900,920,925,1020,930 the apps aren't getting any better neither is windows 10. I've just switch over to a xiaomi mi4c and I must say all my app & OS issues have been resolved, sadly I wish I don't it years...

Do you have an exchange email account added. I had the same problem with the system using 4gb over a few days. I found out it was my exchange account causing the issue even though it was set to manual sync.

Looks like I've sorted mine after nearly a week. It was down to my exchange account, no longer is the data being constantly. The battery is at 58% and survived a working day when I look it off charge 7:30 this morning being about 9h ago.

If you go to privacy setting, it sends everything you do back to Microsoft.

Indeed maybe they missed out some shielding somewhere. But your right i cant see how an update would sort this out. They suggested to me i take it back to where i got it. MMMM that would be the online MS store.
