This is the cheapest I've seen a Snapdragon X Elite Copilot+ PC from Microsoft this year — grab it before it's too late!

Thanks for the headsup....I've been wanting to pull the trigger, but my current Surface is going strong so I couldn't justify the price at this time. The $500 off for the model I wanted made it possible for me to pull the trigger. The only real reason I anted the new version is the longer...

Microsoft Edge's Sidebar is coming to the Windows 11 desktop

Good point. But once it's installed on the desktop, well, it kind of feels as if it were a part of the OS. The Edge team is impressing me of late.

Microsoft Edge's Sidebar is coming to the Windows 11 desktop

Excellent! Love the Sidebar even more now that it's always available. A few weeks back there was a lot of complaints about the poor way Bing's AI functionality was added to Windows 11...this should wipe that concern away as this is a great integration. MS is really going all out on AI.

    Windows 11 Haptic Pen

A Windows 11 pen with haptic feedback (and sound) was demoed during the Windows 11 presentation using what looked like the Slim pen. Does anyone know more about this? Does it require Windows 11? Does it just require a new pen or will it require new computer hardware as well? If the former, any...

Constant dropped calls and Bluetooth issues

I'm having the same problem on T-Mobile. I called Surface Duo support and the rep said they were aware of the problem on Verizon and T-Mobile and they were working on it. She said they believe it's a carrier issue and not a Surface Duo issue, but only time will tell. When I asked how long...

Which is the best monitor with touchscreen?

I don't think I've ever seen an external monitor that supports Windows Ink. If there was one, I'd buy it in a minute! (Or more likely, save up and buy it in an hour).

    SP in your lap

I think Austin is right. I'm 6'2" and it works fine for me. The longer the lap, the better the fit!

What do you love/hate about the Surface Book 2 so far?

I was hoping that with the second generation they'd do two things: Add a kickstand and make a SP keyboard available as an option. That way, when travelling you could leave the heavy base at home and clip on a Alcantara keyboard and basically have two computers in one. I know, that would add...

Why is there no Microsoft Surface trackpad?

I just noticed that Amazon has a limited artist edition of the Touch Mouse (not to be confused with the Arc Touch Mouse) for $18! A mouse with gestures for under $20 is a major steal. I've decided to buy one as a backup...mine is probably 5 years old and still going strong, but you never know.

Why is there no Microsoft Surface trackpad?

Microsoft has one. The Microsoft Touch Mouse. I love mine, and it appears to be discontinued, so it's only $26 on amazon.com.

Why is there no Microsoft Surface trackpad?

Hey Al, I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but a few years ago Microsoft released the Microsoft Touch mouse. It's still available on Amazon for $25 -- I paid $80 when it first came out. It takes a while to get used to it, but fully supports 1, 2, and 3 finger gestures. If you download the...

How do you use your Surface, as a Laptop or a Tablet?

Depends on the week, but now that I have two (and SP3 and Current SP), the SP3 is always used as a desktop, the SP usually a laptop or tablet when inking. The flexibility is key.

    Hey Cortana not working

Windows 10 and SP3 seem to have a problem with the internal microphone. From build to build, the functionality changes. I can't get it to work on the current build UNLESS I plug in my headset. Then it works. Without, I can say "Hey Cortana" until I'm blue in the face, and she just sits there...
