    Since i installed WM10 preview on my lumia 640 xl glance and automatic brightness stopped working. Now after windows mobile release today I am waiting for any update for glance screen app and automatic brightness. Any work around guys please help me.

    I had this same situation with my lumia 640 xl few days ago while updating to new build of WM 10 for this i restarted my mobile with lumia recovery open it dedects my mobile in ufi mode then downloads windows phone8.1 and installed .

    It happened twice that my mobile screen sides slowly getting gray color and increasing and stopped responding until I soft reset it.
