I had 822 and 928 also. Ended up selling the 928. Just not enough advantages to me to justify cost difference. I am going to see what 929 offers and may go for that. I like size of 822, but miss the better camera of the 928. 822 doesn't seem as quirky or finicky either; stable.

Mine did this for the first time after using the wireless charging plate. It does get warm on this plate. Soft reset worked, but something is going on here.

My HTC Trophy never rebooted/shutdown or crashed in over a year of use on WP 7.5. My Nokia 822 booted once in 6 months. My 928 has never rebooted. So my answer would be probably unnecessary, although I understand the typical temptation to do it. Of course, there is no harm in doing so either...

You my have tried this but...When I went to settings/enhancements/ Audio Leveling to "on" and the volume really jumped on mine.

Same situation for me. Previous phone did Amber update the night I got it. Had to replace it yesterday and now phone shows up to date, but no Amber update. Guess Ill just wait.

Regarding the low light pic comparison. When I take a low light pic with the 822 and then edit with auto fix, it lightens it considerably. Not sure if it is 928 quality though. Is this what the 928 is doing automatically ? or is there something superior about the optics?

I'm with you on that one. For me to go to the 928 from the 822 I would give up unlimited data and sign away another 2 years(I'm now month to month since I got my 828 on Ebay). Can't bring myself to do it ...yet. I never come close to using over 2 gb of data, but still.

As much as I want to get a 928(its just cool looking)...I have yet persuaded myself that there are enough advantages over the 822 I have. Especially if the camera differences are small. My 822 has not had any of the glitches/bugs mentioned...yet.

I think just "Camera Roll" goes when set to auto. And that is only option for that. Any you upload manually go to "manual uploads" folder. Somebody correct if not right. thanks.

Great app. I noticed that at the moment the shot is snapped and before it scrolls off the screen, it does not look quite as "good" (not sure how I define that) as the "viewfinder" which is the screen on the 822. Is this real or imagined on my part? Keep up the great work.
