Do people really want ARM on their laptops?To date the only advantage ARM has shown is still just the battery but everything else you use a Windows device for is a compromise. So who exactly is this sort of "mobile" device for, especially at those prices?

You're confusing "fans" with "customers", pretty sure very few in enterprise use Microsoft software because they are "fans" of Microsoft but their tools mostly run on that platform so they have no choice but to be customers of Microsoft. Huge difference. Sent from mTalk

No huge mystery, yet again the problem lies squarely with Microsoft. Back when Windows 8 launched there were a ton of small screened devices like the Dell Venue 8 & 11Pro, Acer W510, and later devices like the Asus Transformer Chi. Eventually a few things emerged: Windows was not really suitable...

This thing is cancelled. Here is how you know. When has Microsoft ever come out and directly said a live project was cancelled, let alone one that was not even announced? They normally use their corporate speak like no longer in focus, we are not talking about that at this time or the now...

So far they seem to be doing ok without a strong consumer presence beyond Xbox. More importantly consumers are getting along fine without a Microsoft mobile hardware offering and i suspect nothing will change that. And with profits continuing to roll in Microsoft themselves don't seem too...

Fanboys really bending over backwards to justify this. Seem to be conveniently forgetting that this is full Windows not WP or W10M. Comparing to ios and android just shows your bias or inability to comprehend the difference between the OS's. Good luck to Microsoft doing this and overriding...
