So the real answer is getting these "fad apps" to be released at the same time as the other platforms, right? I'm pretty sure that not having currently popular games like DrawSomething is hurting the WP, but letting them come out months later (or not at all) certainly doesn't help either...

Is there a specific reason companies like Zynga aren't taking Microsoft up on its offer to fund WP app development? It kind of seems like a winning situation for everyone involved. Does analysis show that the money it would cost a company for upkeep of WP apps would be more than the money...
