The 1020 on the AT&T LTE Network

Just installed 8.1, the 12393 version. My 1020's running great!

The 1020 on the AT&T LTE Network

The Z30, my productivity tool, is great, particularly with the Hub, the huge battery and nice speakers. Having Android runtime is nice as far as apps. The 1020's camera drew me in. The 909 is now my social toy, although I'm open to see how it can also help me manage my personal business. I...

The 1020 on the AT&T LTE Network

It's all good. Just as I suspected, the rep at the at&t retail store had to give me a brand new LTE-compatible SIM card. Now my 1020 is purring nicely on at&t's LTE network.

The 1020 on the AT&T LTE Network

The SIM I'm using right now is an at&t one, but for a non-LTE Nexus 4, which I've now phased out. My other cell is a Verizon BlackBerry Z30 that I successfully migrated to at&t. A few weeks ago I had gotten an LTE-compatible SIM card from at&t, and it works great on the Z30. So I'm hoping a...

The 1020 on the AT&T LTE Network

Hi. I just got my new Nokia 909 aka Lumia 1020 for at&t. If the device is supposed to utilize LTE for data, I don't yet see it. All I see in the upper left is "4G", not "LTE" or "AT&T LTE". What gives? Do I need to worry about adding an internet APN or mms APN? Please let me know, as I...

Any former WEBOS user here? Questions

For my personal line I got an iPhone 4S last October. But over the summer I had gotten a Veer for my business line. I still have it, but last month I got a brand new Samsung Focus S and plopped the SIM from my Veer. I like the OS a lot, as well as the device itself, but I can do without the...

Any buyers remorse after Nokia 900 and LTE announcements?

Nope. I will enjoy my Focus S as long as I can, though I'm still trying to find a way to sneak my $10 mediaNET data plan in there. I'll just sit back and wait for the LTE network to mature a bit more. I look forward to a an Apollo-powered Nokia in my future.

Where's the "Family Data Unlimited" data?

Well, my friend at the at&t mobility store told me to call customer service, because the store cannot unlock phones. So I called at&t's 1-800 number, and after giving them my IMEI they refused to unlock it. (It was bought off eBay and I still have not yet "registered" the phone with at&t.) I...

Change WP7 System Font From Segoe?

As Joe Friday might say, "Just the fonts, ma'am."

Change WP7 System Font From Segoe?

Love the minimalist look of Windows Phone 7.5 on my new Samsung Focus S. Not much of a fan of the Segoe WP font, however. Does anyone know of a way for me to change the system font to something else? I happen to be a fan of the webOS font, Prelude.

Where's the "Family Data Unlimited" data?

Thanks so much for the info, duvi. Seems at&t has ignored my webOS phones as I continued to take advantage of the old unlimited mediaNET data plan and use same for tethering for the past year. I appear to have few choices: 1) continue to use the Focus S as a WiFi only phone, and plop the SIM...

Where's the "Family Data Unlimited" data?

Yes, my Focus S is at&t branded. I guess what you're trying to say is that at&t will take a portion of the IMEI number that is common with all at&t-branded Focus S devices and block the cellular data, whether it's 3G or faux G.

Where's the "Family Data Unlimited" data?

I recently picked up on eBay a new Focus S. I plopped in my 4-yo at&t SIM card with its $10 "Family Data Unlimited" plan (recently switched from the older $15 mediaNET unlimited plan), but the cellular data is not working at all. Right now I'm getting data only through WiFi. What gives...
