I got my Lumia 950 on 3rd Dec. First Impressions: the software is so ugh - it's just full of bugs and, even though Win 10 is better organized than 8(.1), the feel is so chaotic. From day 1 - random restarts, apps crashing on launch, battery gets drained right away, my fingers get burnt etc. But...

I believe many people are forgetting that 7.8 will be bypassing carriers, as announced by Microsoft four months ago. And, in the same way that all devices got Mango, it would be tremendously unlikely if anyone got left out.
