hold the volume down button together with the lock button as long as the phone reboots automatically (don't manually slide down the lock screen) this will perform a soft reset (no data will be lost) and it should fix your problem

I had the opposite problem when I updated to GDR3, all of a sudden the phone would think that headphones are plugged in all the time, so I can't do any normal calls or listen to music through the speakers... I did a soft and hard reset, plugged a number of different headphones in an d out...

I have tried all of the above and I downgraded to gdr2+amber, the issue is still there. I sent it in for repair... Is everybody sure that it is a hardware failure, I would not want to reproduce this problem by updating the repaired phone to gdr3 :winktongue:
