I definitely saw "H" at one point. This is the device I bought... not an AT&T model but pretty much the same thing.
Nokia Lumia 920 RM-820 32GB Smartphone (Unlocked, White) 0023N24
So I picked up a used RM-820 (same as AT&T's but I guess it's an unlocked/unbranded variant of some sort) off of B&H because my 1520 was too big. I'm on Cricket which uses AT&T's network... does the 920 show LTE as "4G" and the HSPA+ 4G as "H"? Because the cell signal is only showing as 4G...
Anyone else get this? I bought a used 1520.3 from B&H and I'm not sure if it came this way or just appeared but there's a small hairline crack in the case that starts from the MicroUSB port. Is this a common issue with the 1520?
Ahh, alright, thanks. Picked up a 9/10 used model on B&H for $160. Got a nice used 1520.3 there earlier for $400 but it's just toooooo big for me. I mean it's a great phone but just... too much. Hopefully the 920 will hold me over until whatever W10 flagship we get for the holiday season.
So apparently the RM-820 is the AT&T version of the 920? But the one sold on B&H is said to be the RM-820 but it's sold as unlocked and (it looks like) unbranded. Is the "vanilla" 920 and the AT&T 920 both the RM-820? Does the RM-820 have AT&T software even though it's unbranded on B&H? I'm...
...only leads to a screen with a barcode and the IMEI info. What do I do from here? I took my phone out of my backpack about an hour ago and found the volume up was stuck. Powered the phone off, then back on... and goes straight to a black screen with a gear and lightning bolt icon after the...
What really annoys me is that the 32GB is only available in Black. WHY?! Anyone know if it's ever going to be available in other colors... like white or red?
Neither really. It's not going to show the updates instantly. Probably it checks every now and then rather than constantly polling the Marketplace to see if any updated versions have been pushed out.
I purchased Navigon back when I had my Samsung Focus. It's expensive though. I got it when it was on sale originally. Always worked well for me. You can download maps locally too, which is nice. Apparently there's also a Garmin app.
