    Miss W10M so much :(

I am still using a 950 XL, and for the most part it still works well. Just a couple of months ago I had gone for a holiday where I was able to survive by only carrying this one device. The battery life, mostly due to the processor, is a bit weak, but otherwise the display feels gorgeous as ever...

Who is still using a Windows Phone? Honest Question.

I use my 950XL and occasionally my Lumia 830 because, more than anything else, the phones work. They work quite well. I got all the apps I need, those which I don't usually have a reliable website. My usual phone changing cycle is bi-yearly, or longer if I can make the phone last. I have...

I'm standing my ground, and sticking with Windows Mobile.

In till the end :) Lumia 950 XL, and a Lumia 830 on the side!

    Die hard windows fans

I'm in a similar boat. I have all the apps I need, the UI of this OS is still more appealing to me than anything else out there. I have used recent android phones and iPhones, and the stability and user speed they have is definitely something that makes me think of switching, but I stick to my...

Imagine a Windows Mobile with Following Specs. Please provide your Suggestions.

I believe the 950XL disolau already has a higher dpi than you mention - we should probably get a better version of it. Also, add linking capabilities and pen support. Lastly: A lot of apps :P Like the way you think!

Cortana no longer syncing text or any notifications from Mobile to Surface or Desktop

Been wondering the same - no notifications from 950XL on fast ring to my laptop since a month or so. Something's up probably - no idea what I can do to fix it. Turned all settings off everywhere and turned them in again, no luck - not even from my 830 which is on the last release of CU. I did...

Coping with the end... what's your poison?

I'm... Pensive on the matter. I used android at length recently, it felt OK. Upside was a lot of apps. But most of the apps I already have on WinMobile. I love how fast iOS works, and the instant app resuming is just too good (we have something akin to that once). It's like saying good bye to...

    Build 15228

    Build 15228

I'm using a 950XL running on the latest Fast Ring Insider build (15228). Today Whatsapp was working fine, until when I got half way through the day, it stopped working - just a black loading screen came on, stayed for a bit before crashing. I didn't think much of it, until later when Lumia...

Camera hangs on Saving after taking a picture, how can I fix this?

Re: Camera hangs on "Saving" after taking a picture I'm super late to this party I know, but this happens when you take too many pictures in succession and the processor doesn't keep up.. BUT THE MORE LIKELY REASON for most people is that your Storage Settings have new images saving to SD card...

What Windows Mobile should have been by now

Until another version of windows comes out I will have to eventually switch too, probably will get Android.. Also, a new Windows Mobile running phone, whenever that happens, will probably cost a lot, so whatever I switch to in the immediate future will have to be on a budget.. I've got a lot...

What Windows Mobile should have been by now

Absolutely right! I wonder if that had something to do with Nokia as well? Or Microsoft being dictating what processors are W10M compatible? If it's the latter then I am guessing it won't be like android which is more widely adaptable, making W10M generally stable on the compatible chipsets...
