Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

The HR sampling frequency and duration is different (more frequent and longer) during exercise mode. The algorithm for calories burned is also different. If don't select the proper mode, your data won't be accurate.

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

I actually find the HR is not as accurate when I have the Band tight during my gym workouts Having it on the looser side works best for me.

Something is wrong again. Neither my workout this morning, nor steps today are syncing with MFP.

Heart Rate Extremely Inaccurate, Microsoft Says Band is Entry-Level Device

I was at the gym the other day doing an exercise that had my heart rate pegged. I looked down and my HR monitor was showing 70-80, which I know was way off. I've noticed the Band does lag slightly in catching up to actual HR but this was different. First thing I did was loosen the Band a...

Microsoft Band 'no longer available for online sale'

As just reported....so glad I ordered mine that first morning, or I'd be pissed. Microsoft Band ?no longer available for online sale?, offers $10 voucher to its waiting list

    myfitnesspal stopped syncing

Yes, I just noticed the same thing. My workouts are not syncing. And from another thread, it sounds like it may be related to the MS Azure outage they had. I believe it runs all their cloud servers.

    No runkeeper sync since Thursday.

Same here. No syncing to My Fitness Pal today. I also keep getting connection error messages sporadically when my App tries to refresh.

    [BAND] Android app issues?

I have Android, and I've been having a similar issue for the past day or so where it tells me "Something went wrong, please check your network connection". It has happened when I try to force sync the Band from the App, and when I've been trying to pull Activity History. I just attempted it...

Here we go...litigation starting using wearables data!

Me too. Our company already charged you more if you smoke. A discount for doing things to be healthier makes sense to me.

    [BAND] Android Notification Quirk/Bug?

I don't recall seeing this, but I have Android and get every other notification under the sun, and there a lot of them. When I had email turned in, I'd get the email show on my Band and the notification on my Band letting me know I received the email. I've since turned notifications off since...

    Updates Pushed automatically?

Excellent find. I'm saving this one for sure. I've been looking for the latest Health update since reading about it a few days ago, but now see it is only for WP. That never was clear to me from the articles I read. I have Android, and that site is very clear no updates were made to that App...

Anyone tried connecting to two phones

I don't think you can. I started out synced with a WP Icon, but had to switch (due to work) to an Android phone. I couldn't find a way to sync the Band to my new phone without resetting it (wiping out the Icon's data, and that days activity) first. Posted via the Windows Central App for Android

Workout wrist strap gloves + band

I use straps a few times each week in my workouts - heavy deadlift sets, shrugs, and dumbell step ups. I wear my band (face down) just above the bone/bump in my wrist and find there is just enough room for a normal strap below it. I do move the Band up slightly for comfort (maybe 1/2 inch)...

    Band User Reviews

How are you filtering email to VIP only? Did I miss something? I recently had to switchover to Android because of work. I'm not usingthe stock email app so the Band isn't picking up the email received by my 3rd party email App. That wasn't a big problem since they were covered in my...

    Returned my MS band

That's not quite true. I read your other post, and they won't replace it because you never sent the first (defective) device back, you sold it to a relative? Also, from the looks of your Band, are you sure you didn't bang it on something, or get it caught under something heavy? Every time...
