I agree that 8gb is low, but you can work around it as long as you are willing. Moving your music to your SD card is an option, or using a cloud service instead (pandora or xbox music, etc). Also Windows 10, which may possibly release this Fall, is also supposed to free up some space...

I'm curious, for those that have the 640 now, if each side/edge is still angled like the 635. The edges on my 635 have caused me to to fumble for my phone a lot, because as you apply pressure to the edges it causes the phone to rotate and slide away from your fingers. Not a great design, unless...

Wife got the m8. Awesome solid phone. I also like some of the additional touches that HTC adds, like the ability to hide the bottom back,start,search bar, which makes watching video a lit more pleasant compared to my 635.

What would financially motivate them to develop software for your phone. That is the question you need you ask yourself. Why not by a 75.00 Lumia 635 for trips like these?

Stores are clueless. Phone was released for sale again late last week, however T-Mobile still has 0 inventory. After ordering , getting charged, and nit receiving an email confirmation, I call to find out they are backordered. Canceled, done with this bs.

I think MS knows that it can't compete in the US yet, against the iPhone. To prevent financial failure, they then opted to go for the low end market, since there is no competition there. I'd buy a 1020 now, but I'm concerned with the upgrade shelf life and I don't want to pay 550 for a 2 year...
