While activating Cortana, I accidentally downloaded English (India) instead of English (UK). How do I uninstall/remove English (India)?

Technically for Cortana to work, the language settings must be the same as the phone's regional settings and speech settings. Why then, for Cortana to work in India, must the language and regional settings be English (India) but speech settings be English (UK)?
