    WP8 SDK on a virtual mashine?

    Your best bet, if you are allowed to do this, would be to create a virtual hard drive and install windows 8 on that. You can then boot to the virtual disk. You will be running a virtual machine but on all your machines resources. Hanselman has some really good guides showing how to do this...

    Pandora - Radio Controlled is a 3rd party Pandora app that is available now. It is not official but it lets you do everything an official app can do. Mint.com - Money Thyme is a 3rd party app for mint.com that is currently in beta. Details here...

    So download Visual Studio 2010 Express and use the WP7 SDK. You can't target WP8 but you won't need to install Windows 8 to run it.
