I only have a problem with the phone getting hot if I leave the flashlight-x open in the background. If I remember to close it, the battery life is fine and the phone doesn't get hot. Not saying there isn't some underlying firmware issue, but it does appear to be triggered by certain apps for me.

It works, but it doesn't work well, IMO. It is a bit small for the Icon and ends up holding the phone pretty low and, even worse, presses on the camera button, so you end with lots of pictures of the back end of cars. It also gets VERY hot with extended use, especially when using Nokia Drive+...

I'm using the kickstand case from Verizon. I always wear the holster on my belt so that limits my choices. I don't think it adds significant bulk to the phone and the kickstand is a nice feature.

I also came from an 822 and agree with this. I'm right handed and I put the larger tiles on the left and the smaller ones on the right so they are easier to reach with my thumb.

While I'm onboard with the Edge program, the one thing you didn't consider is that you can resell your old phone on the old program and you must trade them in on Edge. I valued that at $100 per phone every two years.

Gotcha. I didnt realize that you were keeping the old phones active on the other lines. I guess if you are happy using 4 year old phones on each line, then more power to you. You can puy the new phones at the subsidized price, resell them for $100-150 profit and be happy. What will you do if...
