When Microsoft announced the update with the GPS power saving feature, they had someone doing the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic with a Band 2 and they claimed the battery lasted for a whole day.
I tried turning the GPS power saving mode on today and went for a bicycle ride. After about 4 hours my Band died due to low battery. I had the display in "standby" the whole ride. It didn't sync with my phone. I was expecting at least 6-8 hours.
I get about 4 hours with GPS power saving off, so it didn't seem to improve battery life.
