Is this potentially new device (smart-watch) from Asus the start of the Microsoft Health revolution (tongue in cheek comment :winktongue if the reports are true it appears it may be powered by the band technology.

This would fit into what appears to be Microsoft's business model for Microsoft Health and cloud services, leaving others to create the wearable devices using the Band type sensors which then uses the MSFT cloud services.
Could this mean that there may not even be a version 2 Band if more companies licences the technology from Microsoft?
