Can I get some help with my iPhone MS Health App Issues?

iPhone MS Health App Issues

I have noticed two new problems since I installed the latest Band firmware and the latest Microsoft Health app software on my iPhone 6:

(1) iPhone battery usage for the app seems way up and is draining my iPhone so what was a 2-day battery life is now down to about 1 day. Per the Battery Usage monitor in the iPhone Settings section, the MS Health app is taking up 74% of all the battery usage as a background process. (For comparison, the next most usage is by Mail at 8%.)

(2) Syncing of the Health app to the Band often freezes and fails. The progress bar shows but never even starts to move for minutes on end. I have to do a hard reset of the iPhone and try again. Then syncing does works.

Anyone else having these problems?

I am having exactly the same issues, but have not found a solution yet.

rf52, thank you for letting me know that these problems are "not just me." :smile:
I, too, am looking for a solution but have not found even mention of the problem, nor a solution.
I expect that the latest iPhone version of the Health app probably added these "features" and needs to be fixed.
