Well.....got my new Band today and having some issues getting the Bluetooth to sync up. I think it might be the names have been mixed up. The band is calling itself Jimmy's Band ab:07, but on the my 1020 it is looking for MSFT Band ab:07. When I go to the Bluetooth settings it shows it is paired, but the screen on the Band keeps giving me instructions on how to connect and telling me to install the health software. What is going on here? I uninstalled the software on the phone and reinstalled it, but same issues. I did see where you can change the name of the band inside the software, but that doesn't seem to help either. It's like I need to reset the Band. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Try just that...resetting the Band to default settings and start from scratch. Go to settings and do a factory reset.

That happened to me.... You have to keep trying to connect... And also go into settings and make sure Microsoft health is running in the background and also go into "connected apps" in settings. Also, install pimp my band and I that syncs the everything should fall into place

Okay.....thought the settings was the "action button", but not getting any response. Where do I find the settings? Sorry for the basic questions, thought I had this figured out. Grrrrrr.

On the Band, scroll all the way to the right to the Gear icon, then scroll all the way to the right again to the Power icon, then scroll right again to find factory reset

Well, apparently there is a problem with my Band. Of course, mine goofs up. The screen does not scroll at all. I guess I'll just have to run it by the local Best Buy and see if they have some in stock and maybe I can exchange it, or, I'll have to send it back. So much for my new gadget....dang it.

Says "you've paired! Please go back to the app to continue". So I go back to the app and doesn't have me do anything. It's like it's stuck in this mode.

Well....ended up exchanging the first Band for another at a local Best Buy (the first one came from BB online because they weren't available locally yet). After some initial troubles, I seem to have the 2nd one working and so far so good. I think there was an issue with the device being registered and the name of the device, but really don't know for sure. Anyway, appreciate everyone's suggestions as I tried to resolve the issue.
