    Hello -

There is a 5-7 calories burned discrepancy between the actual Band the Health app on the iOS device. My band will read 995, then the health app reads 1000 or 1002.

There is an outstanding question with microsoft (entitled Band to Phone Calorie Sync Problem) that no solution has been found yet.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions that I can try?

When I first saw your question I thought it was pretty intriguing -- I could imagine your phone lagging the Band a bit, but it's hard to explain how it could be ahead. Really strange. At the time, though, I didn't think a few calories either way was a large error.

On the other hand, I'm the type that...for example...when I have a stuck pixel on a display, even when it's almost impossible to see, my eye goes right to it. So I can understand how a small discrepancy can still be annoying! The only hunch I have at this point is to ask whether you've done any kind of reset on the Band or reinstalled the app?

Thanks for the link. I do understand about the accuracy portion of tracking. My issue is that the data on my Band does not match the data that appears on the Health app.

Do you have Health app to take reading from your iOS device under Privacy>Motions & Tracking on by chance?

If you do, it is expected that your MSB reading and Health app values not match - both calories and steps. Since iPhone tracks also, MSHealth app somehow reconciles the differences between the two and shows the result in MSHealth app.
