Plugged in, charging but won't "connect" to PC

Hello. When I attach the charging cable to my Band and my PC (running Windows 10) it will charge up but not "connect" and sync.

Recently had to do an update with the "Microsoft Band Sync" on this computer. Hasn't worked since then.

Data does seem to be moving to the Microsoft Health app (via my phone/Bluetooth connection) so does this matter? Will I still get Band software updates?

I tried cleaning all the contact surfaces, looks fine and charges up, just won't connect data-wise.
