Microsoft Band Burn in??

I have Microsoft Band, Gen 1 and recently I've been noticing this burn in effect. This happens when I used the stop clock, when I use the fitness tracker and even after a hard reset. I thought maybe the hard reset would fix this but as you can see in the photos below, that is not the case. It seems like after an hour, it'll eventually disappear but was wondering if anyone else have heard of this happening. I wont have time to go to the microsoft store until this weekend and any causes or quick fix would be appreciated. Would prefer not to buy Gen 2 yet..

EDIT: I have a second photo but WPCentral doesn't want to upload it for some reason. It shows the same message though on a different side of the screen.
